For American Couples
Planning a wedding in Italy from the other side of the world is exciting, and — if nobody prepares you for it — very confusing.
The vendors who don't respond for days. The contracts that feel vague. The planner who says not to worry without telling you why. The growing sense that you're operating without a manual in a system everyone around you seems to understand instinctively.
None of that is a sign that something is wrong. It's a sign that two professional cultures are working from different playbooks — and that you could use someone who knows both. Explore the services below or get in touch if you're not sure which one is right for where you are in the process.
Cultural Orientation Call
You've decided on Italy. Now you need to understand how Italy actually works.
Before you contact your first vendor, before you sign your first contract, before you spend months anxious about response times and vague emails and timelines that don't match what you've read online — this call gives you the cultural foundation that changes how you experience the entire planning process.
The Cultural Orientation Call is a 90-minute one-to-one session covering everything you need to understand about Italian wedding culture before planning begins. Not just logistics — the communication norms, the relationship dynamics, and the expectation gaps that catch almost every American couple off guard. By the end of the call you'll know what to expect, how to interpret what you're experiencing, and how to approach the planning process from a place of clarity rather than anxiety.

Because the Italian wedding planning process is genuinely different from anything the American wedding industry has prepared you for — and most couples discover that the hard way, months into planning, when the confusion has already created anxiety and the anxiety has already affected the working relationship with their vendors.
The orientation call is the faster, less stressful path. One conversation before you start means you go into the process knowing the rules — which means less second-guessing, less unnecessary follow-up, and a lot less time wondering whether something has gone wrong.

Cultural Liaison
Understanding Italian wedding culture is one thing. Navigating it in real time — across months of planning, vendor relationships, contracts, and communication — is another.
The Cultural Liaison is ongoing cultural support from engagement through wedding day. It's for couples who don't just want to understand the system they're planning within — they want someone alongside them as they navigate it. Not managing their vendors. Not replacing their planner. Translating, interpreting, coaching, and helping them make sense of what's happening in real time so that every interaction with their Italian team feels informed rather than anxious.
If the orientation call gives you the map, the Cultural Liaison walks the path with you.
-
The engagement begins with the orientation call and a deep-dive session where we explore your priorities, values, and vision for the wedding — and identify where your expectations may need calibrating to the Italian reality.
You receive a written guide covering your specific planning timeline, recommended next steps, and a planner recommendation if I think someone in my network could be a good fit for you.
From there, ongoing support across three to six months includes regular check-in calls, email and voice note access for questions as they arise, coaching on how to communicate effectively with your planner and vendors, guidance on reading and responding to the interactions that feel confusing, and conflict interpretation and response strategy when something genuinely goes sideways.
-
An orientation call and deep-dive session.
A written planning guide and timeline tailored to your situation.
A planner recommendation where relevant.
Up to six 30-minute check-in calls across the engagement period.
Bounded email and voice note access with responses within 48 hours on weekdays.
A written brief for your planner summarising your expectations, communication style, and priorities.

Because planning a wedding in Italy from the US is a long process — and the confusion doesn't happen just once. It happens in waves, at every new stage of vendor communication, contract negotiation, and decision-making. Having someone who understands both sides of the dynamic available throughout that process changes the entire experience.
Couples who work with a Cultural Liaison don't just feel less anxious — they communicate more effectively with their vendors, make better-informed decisions, and arrive at their wedding knowing that the planning process worked the way it was supposed to. The wedding they get is the wedding they envisioned, because they understood the system well enough to actually steer it.
-
The process begins with a discovery call to ensure we're a good fit and to define the scope of the engagement. From there, you receive a proposal outlining the specific structure based on your wedding timeline and planning stage. A deposit secures your place and the engagement begins with the orientation and deep-dive session within two weeks of signing or based on your availability.
-
From €1,400 for a three-month engagement.
Extended engagements of five to six months from €2,000.
A 50% deposit is required to begin. Get in touch to discuss the right structure for your timeline.
VAT included.
-
The Cultural Liaison begins with a free 20-minute discovery call so we can discuss your situation and make sure the engagement is the right fit. Use the link below to book your discovery call.

Planning SOS
You're already planning. Something isn't adding up and you can't quite put your finger on why.
Maybe your vendor went quiet at a critical moment and you don't know whether to follow up or wait. Maybe a conversation with your planner left you more confused than reassured. Maybe you've been trying to interpret a contract clause or a response that doesn't quite make sense in the way you'd expect. Maybe you just have a growing sense that something is off but no way to verify it.
The Planning SOS is a single 60-minute session for couples who are mid-planning and need a focused, specific answer to a problem they’re facing. You bring the situation. I bring the cultural context that helps you understand what's actually happening — and what to do about it.
-
Whatever you're navigating right now. We focus the entire session on your specific situation — the communication that confused you, the timeline that doesn't feel right, the interaction you can't quite read, or the decision you're not sure how to make. You leave with a clear understanding of what's driving the dynamic and a concrete plan for how to respond or move forward.
-
A 60-minute live session via video call focused entirely on your situation. A written follow-up within 48 hours summarising the key points and the specific action or communication strategy we discussed so you have something concrete to refer back to.
-
Because sometimes asking for advice on Facebook and Reddit just doesn’t cut it. You need someone who’s been in your shoes and can give unbiased insights into the situation you’re facing.
The Planning SOS is for the moment when something has happened and you need to understand it before you respond. Getting the response wrong can set a vendor relationship back weeks. Getting it right moves everything forward.
It's also the natural entry point for couples who are already deep into planning and weren't able to start with the orientation call. One session won't cover everything — but it will cover what matters most to you right now.
-
Book your session using the link below and complete a short intake form describing the situation you're navigating. This means we spend the session on strategy rather than background. The session takes place via video call. Your written follow-up arrives within 48 hours.
-
€225 per session. Payment is required at time of booking.
VAT included.
